The round condemnation of the yawning gap between the haves and the have-nots continue to fall on deaf ears. Government policies have not actually come in handy to ameliorate the plight of the subalterns. People continue to groan under the shackles of poverty and want. Not distant from our knowledge, the austere nature of the economies around the world multiplied in geometric progression. No country is unaffected. The only gang for survival is the few who have gone out their way to welcome an innovation that would expand their view to the tyrannical tendencies of the economy. No thanks to misdirected policies of the government.
It is still bizarre to the imagination that some people sleep and wake up to see themselves in the same state. They care less of what happens to them or the people under their care. They keep calm to the bitterness of their future. They have school fees to pay or have their children thrown out of school. They have rent to pay or thrown out of their present apartment. They have home to keep or suffer starvation. They have a utility bill to offset or disconnected from basic amenities, and so on, and so forth.
Just a little planning will see them out of the miscellaneous issues disparaging their way to success. The cautious ones will always get out of those issues to live a happy and successful life. Waiting until it’s too precarious will earn someone a higgledy-piggledy situation. Is it not better to act fast to avoid last minute rush? Let us illustrate. Jack has a headache, which started in the morning as a symptom of malaria. He ignores it in spite of its debilitating effect. He is too occupied to attend to a headache. In the afternoon, the headache exacerbates as malaria comes with its full fury. He can no longer carry himself. An ambulance is called before he is taken to hospital for treatment.
It is foolhardy to wait for the collapse of the economy before one does something to help himself. Many governments have openly acknowledged their insolvency; and since this is a fact before us, do we wait until the government is unable to provide those little services for which they’re known? Things do not automatically get better. We have to make conscious efforts to leave the present level we find ourselves, which is riddled with uncertainties and vicissitude.
The idea of mutual aid dates back to remote history, when co-operative societies evolved, not just as interest groups but also as a platform to solve the problems of members. Which problems? The problem of lack, financial problems. A study conducted in Africa recently shows proliferation of co-operative societies, wherein people organised themselves to pull resources to save a member.
Depending on the position of the member, which is determined by either the time you joined the club or ballot conducted at the beginning of each club year. Members would contribute and give financial aid to, say, the first person in the list, and so on until every member benefits to mark the end of the club year.
Does this system solve the problem of need? Though not fair to undermine its effectiveness among the members, however, ‘need’ has a correlation with want. Need is something you desire the lack of which will cause an eruption of a negative feeling. For instance, if a little child desires to play in the sand, but its mother sees that it will get dirty in the process and refuses it. That child has a need that is refused by its mother. It may begin to cry, long for his need to be satisfied. Except using other things to lure it out of its desire to play, it will continue to yearn for it until his need is satisfied. If given another thing, however attractive such thing is, his need is always his need. That new offer is rated second-class, unwanted.
Co-operative mutual aid works with less cheat in almost many countries of the world, not only in Africa, to ameliorate the plight of ordinary people. However, the problem of need comes into play.
Jack has a need to go for a holiday, which, according to his personal schedule, would be very apt to be solved in July. Unfortunately, he picks the first in the balloting exercise. What does he do? Does he set off in January for the holidays? It would be inept to embark on the holiday in January as against his schedule, i.e. July. His proposed holiday will coincide with his annual leave, and that is how he plans it. In the latter case, he doesn’t decide when to go but has been fixed by his employer. His only source of financing the holiday is his contribution to the club, which he is being forced to take in January.
An alternative arrangement is made between Jill, another member of the club, and Jack. This arrangement embodies the swapping of Jack’s position, which was decided by ballot, with that of Jill. Though the club doesn’t know about this informal arrangement and wouldn’t be a proper arbiter in time of the dispute, it will work effectively if Jill is not the troublesome type. If he is, the only solution to enforce the contract from Jill in July, when the actual need for the money comes, is litigation. This will not guarantee immediate payment of Jack, especially as the only period for embarking on his holidays is in July.
To say the least, litigation to enforce the money can only be successful if Jack has a written evidence of the transaction. He may not have bothered himself with reducing the transaction into writing because of the familiarity and relationship between them. If he didn’t have, he will only rely on the parol contract, which is difficult to prove, to get his claims. Before Jack could grasp his situation, he has expended his money, time, efforts in recouping his own money. It’s possible that Jack loses all his money through such informal arrangement.
This is too bad! If Jack doesn’t want to enter into such arrangement, he may wish to accept the money grudgingly. As he accepts same, he goes to his bank to deposit it. Such place doesn’t guarantee safety as Jack has full access to the money. Many problems may come, which, naturally, should prompt Jack to go for the money. At the end of the day, Jack’s intention for the holiday may be defeated.
If jack decides to deposit his money in the bank, he will end up giving the financial institution the power to give the money to whomever that will properly use it. While the third party pays huge interest in the money, Jack will only be giving paltry sum as interest. The bulk of the interest paid by the borrower rests with the bank. They use it to open more branches within and without the country, thus expanding their financial coast.
What happens to the owners of the money? They are left out in the picture. If the paltry sum paid as interest arrives today as credit, huge charges for SMS alert and other internal charges will arrive promptly as debits to offset the interest. The question of who cheats who plays here. The truth is that the customers, who they exploit and continue to exploit, won’t realise their antics.
The little arrangement people started making about their financial lives could not be sustained because the government would intersect such arrangement, discourage people that they’re at the risk of losing their money. We don’t believe in any other thing except what they tell us. This is self-destruction.
Come to think of it, banks – more often than not – have crumbled, leaving many in more debilitating penury. However, the government will continue to encourage people to opt out of the co-operative arrangement. Nothing lasts forever! If government institution could crumble, human beings could die, companies could wind up, the human race could be wiped out, why would anything last forever? If a co-operative arrangement could collapse, people that formed the arrangement should have a better explanation. Therefore, it’s not apposite to argue that since there’s tendency for such arrangement to fail, it’s not beneficial to opt in. It has more tendency to solve the problems of people.
Most of the world’s government is no longer totalitarian. This ought to give more chances to the people to rule their financial world. Under the façade of democracy, the financial institutions, sponsored by the government, are enslaving the people. They know you would break bounds if left to decide your financial future. Little wonder then they term as crude every other arrangement meant to open people’s awareness of their slavery. This is quite appalling! This is inhumanity!
They will continue to warn you of the possibility of losing your money. They will hide the fact that those financial institutions apply the same method to sustain. If people do not lodge money in millions to the bank, or if they should cease on the way from lodging their money, the bank will crash.
Another possibility could be when Jill, on seeing that he’s spent in January what should ordinarily come to him in July, i.e. months earlier, he may take his responsibility to make up for Jack as a dime a dozen. When the month of July comes, the resultant effect is a reduction in what is due to him, which would be transferred to Jack, under the said swap arrangement. Jack will become Jill’s creditor, to wait for the time he becomes buoyant. In the alternative, he could appeal to heaven.
Co-operative bargaining may n0t solve our financial quandaries, especially in relation to need, Golden Trust Donation will. Golden Trust Donation is a community where participants pull resources to resolve financial issues of another participant, who must have helped another. The problem of need is well addressed that a participant waits until he has immediate need of help. The financial aid will come only when the need for that has come, and that has to be determined by the participant. Here, participants are in control of the situation. It takes a decision to provide help; it takes a need to request for help.
As we have seen, ‘need’ is the pre-requisite for financial help. Jack will not have the problem of need if his holiday and annual leave coincide with the hosting of his club. It doesn’t happen like that anywhere in the world. Little wonder then everyone, who is to survive in the world fraught with uncertainties, should guard his step towards the right direction. Some mistakes may be too drastic to correct!
Golden Trust Donation has a systemic approach towards matching you with the time you intend to spend your money, i.e. the time of your need. It doesn’t happen by chance! Everything is programmed with such accuracy that once you’ve decided to key in into the philosophy, we should like to see it acted up more rapidly and methodically. Your future is in your hand: decide whether to make or mar it.
We may like to know what you do with your spare money. Do you save it in in your bank account and expect a miracle to happen? Do you squander it with the hope that more will come? Nothing is guaranteed in this fight between the haves and the have-nots.
You’ll have yourself to blame when your mates guzzle up hardship and edge you away to achieve the echelon next. You’ll be amazed that they would join the haves to wave you permanent goodbye as they enjoy their new world. There mayn’t be an opportunity to retrace your step and join them. The chasm between you and them could be too formidable to break. It could have been late! Why don’t you rise up and join them to avoid the rush when Noah’s Ark has risen up beyond your height or when the door is shut.
With 100% interest in rendering a voluntary service, you can eke out a living. Miracles do not happen quite often. I don’t want to puncture your religious inclination, rather make a point you will fleetingly understand as not being doubtful. Your own miracle may have happened by having the opportunity to come across Golden Trust Donation. Have you given out to charity before? Have you performed an act, which you do not wish to receive a reward, except the cursory ‘thanks a bunch!’ from your recipient? This may be an opportunity to do it or learn how to do it. I know quite well that if you’ve been giving out to the less-privileged, you would only ignore their appreciation and wait for your God for a reward. You’re not much in the wrong! The appreciation that is best for you is not when your recipients follow you with their music to tell the whole world how magnanimous you could be. Your reward does not consist in having your name scripted in the mundane records of philanthropists.
Interestingly enough, when you give help in Golden Trust Donation, we keep record of it, not in heaven but under this platform. God pays more than we do! However, we know that our own pay is something worthwhile. We keep record to pay you hugely as our champion, who was designed from birth to help those that are in need.
If you have the same mindset as a virgin, “I am learning to care for the unfortunate,” you would always want God to keep your record in order to pay you. Golden Trust Donation keeps a record of your donation and pays you in real time. We don’t obliterate the reward portent. If God pays you for your altruism, Golden Trust Donation pays, too! You deserve more than 100%! Why won’t you get it? If we condemn the exploitative tendencies of the financial institutions, we make bold to pay your magnanimity in factual cash.
However, we won’t postpone telling you that donation is different from investment. That is why Golden Trust Donation is not multi-level marketing structure; it’s not an investment platform; neither is it high-yield investment programme. Many other companies won’t tell you this because they want more registration, hence membership. No! No! No! You deserve to know the best.
Golden Trust Donation is an online bureau to coordinate members exchanging help among themselves. If we preach free giving, why would we charge fees or commission for this? We are contented with people providing community service based on how Golden Trust Donation has affected their lives in no small measures.
We just discovered that you deserve more than the measure you give. Receive more! The race for survival has acquired more elusive disposition, hence the need to embrace palliatives. Therefore, if you don’t restrict yourself, no one will restrict you! Be a hero! A Chinese proverb says, “A wise man makes his own decisions, an ignorant man follows the public opinion.”
